What is it that people don't like about me, and even bully me for no reason at all? (i believe this has happened sometimes)
You don't dislike someone coz they get things wrong a lot, and you don't call someone an idiot for that, either.
I also wanna find out who doesn't like me, so i added a poll. Also i don't like much the seniors. Only 5 are okay imo. I know the poll is like...... weird but i want to find out.

if they don't adjust their behavior, it is a perfectly valid reason to call someone an idiot. that's pretty much a definition of it.

Well its not like you can become intelligent in one day.
But by the behaviour of some members some people want to bully me for no reason. This is why i've took action. I want to know why And if this turns into a flame war- i'll delete the thread. Be honest with me here.
Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected.

The only problem I have is that you refuse to be wrong. When somebody tries to correct you, you either:
a) Make up an excuse
b) Cover over your tracks
c) Right the mistake and do not acknowledge the person who corrected you, saying it was your idea all along.

my point was this thread in general. I haven't actually read through the posts.
this thread is pointless crap that just really should never have been posted in the first place. most of the seniors don't like you because you drag threads off-topic with your inane arguments and because you post threads like this one. posting thread after pointless thread doesnt' get anything done go look around and see how many threads other members start compared to how many YOU start. others start a thread because they have something to discuss that is of importance or interest to the community. you post threads that no one but yourself cares about at all.
also, the other reason most senior members don't like you is because of your rampant stupidity. sure, you're getting better and I've moved you over to a neutral status personally, but most of the others still think of your earlier exploits and you've got a lot of ground to cover to make up for all of that, and pointless threads like this one do NOT help in the least.
and the last reason I can think of is that you're wishy-washy something aweful. when someone argues against your point you either relentlessly argue against them without ever knowing what you're talking about or you just go with it 100% as if your opinion was never the exact opposite. grow some damn spine. if you agree with someone then agree with them, if you disagree then disagree, if you dont' know any better then say so.
You don't hate people because they get things wrong a lot.
You can, if you don't like correcting people alot. =)

I can't really remember the last time i dragged a thread offtopic...... was it 1 month and 8 days ago? I think it was.
Anyway, i'm an argumentative person, and i've been like that for years. I don't back off very easily, and will argue and argue and argue...... i'm sorry but i'm not going to say 'okay your right' everytime i'm in a debate and some-one corrects me.
Also, some threads i've made were for a joke (the what are you eating right now) to see peoples reaction. I won't make pointless threads again, but this is something i need to find out.
And i don't know if what i'm posting is a pointless thread..... do i? as said before some threads have been made for a joke (but not this one) I know the 'what are you eating right now' was.....
And i don't know if a thread i'm posting is important to the community either.... would you like to give me a long list of what ya looking for? would appreciate it, (but i'm not expecting because no-one would do that)
also, the other reason most senior members don't like you is because of your rampant stupidity.
Yeah, i'm perfectly aware of that. Though they only seem to dislike me because i don't back down and get things wrong a lot.
but most of the others still think of your earlier exploits and you've got a lot of ground to cover to make up for all of that, and pointless threads like this one do NOT help in the least.
So what do i have to do? give you a million dollars?
I'm asking a question about what makes me not likable here.
when someone argues against your point you either relentlessly argue against them without ever knowing what you're talking about or you just go with it 100% as if your opinion was never the exact opposite. grow some damn spine. if you agree with someone then agree with them, if you disagree then disagree, if you dont' know any better then say so.

I have the ultimate solution! don't! tadaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Be honest with me here.
I believe your heavy addiction with internet message boards is what makes it so uncomfortable to post in the same forums as you. Because of the anonymity of the media and the disinterest of enough other members of this forum, you're allowed to switch between personalities on a weekly basis, rendering honest attempts of helping you find your path to becoming a valuable member of any community temporary. That, I'd say, is the reason cynical remarks and insults took over after a while.
I think you should post less. This has nothing to do with liking or not liking you personally, either would require knowing you first. And that's not an easy task, mostly due to what I wrote above, but also because you're just that much younger than the thinking majority on the forum. On the bright side, emotional intelligence increases as you get older and more experienced. Be patient!

I can't really remember the last time i dragged a thread offtopic...... was it 1 month and 8 days ago? I think it was.as stated, some of the problem is past influence.
Anyway, i'm an argumentative person, and i've been like that for years. I don't back off very easily, and will argue and argue and argue...... i'm sorry but i'm not going to say 'okay your right' everytime i'm in a debate and some-one corrects me.yes, but you continue to argue even when you ARE WRONG. when someone has proven you wrong you often still argue your point even though you clearly don't know what you're talking about.
Also, some threads i've made were for a joke (the what are you eating right now) to see peoples reaction. I won't make pointless threads again, but this is something i need to find out. we've had this conversation before. you WILL continue to post stupid threads because you don't know what makes a thread stupid.
And i don't know if what i'm posting is a pointless thread..... do i? as said before some threads have been made for a joke (but not this one) I know the 'what are you eating right now' was.....see? obviously you do not meet the intellectual requirements for posting threads, and yet you refuse to accept that and just post more and more pointless threads.
And i don't know if a thread i'm posting is important to the community either.... would you like to give me a long list of what ya looking for? would appreciate it, (but i'm not expecting because no-one would do that)see? even MORE proof of that. if you don't know if the thread is useful, then it's not. don't post it. if you KNOW it's something the community wants to know about, then that's when the thread is a good one.
Yeah, i'm perfectly aware of that. Though they only seem to dislike me because i don't back down and get things wrong a lot.yes, and as we've said many times before that you've ignored, the reason people don't like you is because you get things wrong a lot and STILL don't back down. you don't care whether or not the argument is valid or intelligible, you just want to argue. if you want to argue go join a debate club. here, we just want to have civilized conversation.

Shadowmoon's Seven Deadly Sins
1. He's pretty damn ignorant. Okay, fair enough, we can't all be geniuses, but there are certain things that stand out, like saying "We haven't covered that in school yet" for things that he could have read a book/asked his parents/Googled for to work out what we were talking about (and, as far as I'm concerned, at that age I'd have know about it already from reading around the subject). Ignorance is one thing, using it as an excuse is another.
2. Forgetting that wood is flammable. I admit that's a subset of 1, but come on.
3. Being argumentative isn't too bad in itself. I'm argumentative. But a proper argument is something that's well researched and takes the other person's point of view into account, and you also have to admit to the possibility you might be wrong - and this is where the ignorance thing comes in again.
4. Of course, when Shadowmoon does cave in, he flips his opinion on something at the drop of a hat. Okay, fair enough, opinions should change with new evidence, but the speed with which he does it suggests that all he's doing is following the crowd in a bid to be popular. This ties into post 9 of this thread by robowurmz.
5. He keeps posting silly threads. Can't he just leave the "New Thread" button alone for, oh I dunno, six months?
6. Instead of going away, trying to work out why people don't like him, and returning with a better attitude, he just gets angry about things and... well, makes threads like this.
7. Like me he lives in Swansea, so there's the crippling fear that he'll work out where I live and turn up unannounced. "Hi, Mum, this is some guy I don't like from the Internet".

The thing is, you're not supposed to argue if you don't know the subject. Before you try arguing, you should firs research the subject, so that you can support your arguments with facts.
So instead of saying "I'll accept I'm wrong once I'm proven wrong", you should say: "I will not argue unless I can prove myself right."

If I pointed out all of them I'd be here all day. So here's five:
"Which browser do you use?" - asked so many times before it isn't even funny. Do a search if you really want to know.
"What do you think of your countries leader?" - there's an old saying, "don't discuss religion or politics". Anyone with half a brain could see that turning into a flame war.
"Which fanartists do you like?" - I mean, seriously, what sort of answer are you expecting? I'm not going to sit down and type out a list of all the fanartists I'd like. I'd probably forget some, I'd have to go back a long way to include them all, and at the end of it all it's also the question by omission of "Which fanartists don't you like?", which is, let's face it, going to upset people.
"What are you eating right now?" - enough said. Sure you said you did it for a laugh, but where's your proof that this isn't just justification after the fact?
"Huh?" - enough said.

And Shadowmoon, what is the point in deleting a post you made which is later quoted by someone else? Ref: post #23. Yakuza and Pyramid are NOT seniors. The unwritten rule is that to be a senior you generally have to have a 4-digit or less userID (ie, up to member nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine). For example, those two have 5-digit userIDs, indicating that they joined relatively recently.
To be honest Shadowmoon, you are incredibly lucky we haven't permabanned you from the forum - you have received 14 separate infractions averaging 5.9 points per infraction. I think we have permabanned others for clocking up a large number of infractions, but nowhere near as many as that.

You are an unlikable, unpleasant, ignorant, foolish, childish, moronic, flip-floping, arrogant, cerebrally bankrupt, cocky little toerag. What's more in your attempt to work out why you're a unlikable, unpleasant, ignorant, foolish, childish, moronic, flip-floping, arrogant, cerebrally bankrupt, cocky little toerag that nobody likes, you come across as an even more unlikable, unpleasant, ignorant, foolish, childish, moronic, flip-floping, arrogant, cerebrally bankrupt, cocky little toerag.
You can't use ignorance as an excuse for not knowing things, especially basic stuff like "Wood is flammable".
You can't use your age as an excuse for your ignorance. Yes, you're young, but that's no excuse for not knowing things. I don't know anyone your age who's quite as remarkably thick as you are.
You can't use "I can do what I like" as an excuse for acting the way you do. Having spoken to a lot of regulars here on the forum, you're in a surprisingly large number of Ignore Lists.
You can't state your opinions as fact. You dso this all the time and then get angry with the people who disagree with you.
You can't edit your posts when someone posts something later which corrects or contradicts you - otherwise known as Hellsheeping (or a variation thereupon). It's annoying and it makes you come across as a real Cock Goblin. Leave your posts alone and post something afterwards that says, "Oh, you're right. Sorry!" - leave that original psot alone, you birk.
If you don't know something, Google it. Don't wait for it to come up in school. They don't teach Common Sense in school. You have to work that out for yourself. Grow a bloody brain, for Glod's sake.

being wrong isn't about how many people think you are wrong. you can have everyone agree with you and be wrong, and vice versa.
people give you arguments for why you are wrong. if an argument is inconsistent, you provide a counter argument showing that it is so. otherwise, you have to accept that you are wrong.
that is, one person, with one argument, can prove you wrong, and you should accept it if the proof has no flaws.
if there are flaws, it is your responsibility to find them, and provide counter argument. if you fail to do so, yet keep insisting that you are not wrong, you are acting like an idiot, and it is perfectly fair for someone to call you on it.

OK, so here's what i'll do: I'll stop making threads, as for argues if someone posts proof that they are right i'll accept that i've been proved wrong and not carry on.
The proof is that you had to make this thread.
But if someone says something like: Sorry, your wrong there, and nothing else, i will argue and ask them for proof.
See above comment
EDIT: If its something about members art i won't say anything and keep hold on my opinion.
I've got no comment for this.

I'm not reading this thread because it'll be locked in the time it takes me to read it probably, so don't blame me.
I don't hate you because I think that's a super strong word to use on a kid I'll likely never meet based solely on his posts on an internet forum I sort of frequent. You can be annoying, but I in no way hate you.
Is this the first forum you have posted at? It seems like that to me. I did that here, too. My first posts were awful and often completely unintelligible and insane. But when I was posting, I was just about the only person like that, and after a huge burst of posting at the beginning, I calmed down and actually left for a while. I came back and I think I can still be unfortunately obnoxious in a different way, like an elitist sort of thing. It's usually because when something tempts me to post, it's because it's frustrating me. It's unfortunate, especially when it's something that, face it, in the long run doesn't matter at all, like your politics thread. Sure, it was going to get locked because of a flamewar and was unbelievably off-topic anyway, but did I really have to push it off the tracks even more? But I'm digressing, like, a lot.
I think the problem is you are remaining in the "newbie" stage. You're like stagnating there. I don't know why. I think it's because there are other people here in your same predicament that make you think it's okay to act the way you are acting. It's not a bad thing, all youngposters acted like that when they started out, whether it was this forum or not. You're just supposed to be maturing, and getting people to not yell at you. But not everyone's yelling at you, and you're making friends with the people that got yelled at. And you're starting a little group (team17.tk) where you make the rules, you are the leaders. It's almost a Lord of the Flies sort of deal. You've created a little sanctuary where you don't have to mature, and you aren't going to. Even if you get yelled at here, everyone tolerates your immature threads over at team17.tk because they're at the same level. And it just keeps on propagating itself. Maybe. Maybe it's something else entirely.
When I came here (GOLDEN DAYSSSS), I was like, the only one acting like this, and I think that's why I shaped up more. I don't know. I'm way older now than when I signed up. It could have been just general maturing. I don't really know.
But I think that's why people don't like you. You're immature and this was intended as a discussion board for mature people. That's not a bad thing. You just don't fit in. You fit in on team17.tk, and that's not a bad thing either. This becomes extremely evident when you say things like you hate all the seniors. Well, this is THEIR forum. You wouldn't go to a new city and expect them to change for you. You go to a place where you fit in. If after a while you mature, and come back, you'll likely be accepted with open arms*. In the meantime, you should go to forums more targeted for people like you. There are plenty. Don't obsess over this one, it'll be here when you feel more like you are going to fit in. Don't feel like you have to completely leave, either. By all means, stay... just as someone else said, slow down the posting. A lot. Give more thought into your posts. I notice a lot of them are basically content-free. Stop that. When you make a post, SAY something. Think it out. How are other people going to perceive it?
I don't mean this to be a jerk post at all, I may be completely wrong, I just want to try to help because you have a problem with people here and people here have a problem with you, for a while, and I'm just trying to help because I'm beginning to feel bad about it.
*Unfortunately I think another reason people don't like you is because, as has been said, your reputation is going to precede you for a while.

And you still didn't learn how NOT to do things?!
My original purpose of coming here was to suggest stuff. I actually joined in August, (but with a different IP) but i accidentally deleted my validation email, and i didn't know you could get it back, then when i had a different IP i joined in November.
And senior's didn't hang round the games forums and suggestions forum much then, and i didn't learn much.
I'll admit it: I'm selfish at some times.
Perhaps so, took me years to actually bother registering. But I doubt there's many left that remember the times with Guest posting, when Nutter and Spadge would get involved in every kind of debates about the game or when you were allowed to call someone a son of a... without getting infracted.
The time were those posting were actually the same people you later saw on Wormnet. The time we're we all wondering if CleanAir was actually working on ranking code or it was all a hoax to sell WWP.

I don't hate people because they are dumb, but I can't say I seriously like you either. Though I was pretty much tempted to vote "No" when I read this thread.

While searching for something completely different, I noticed Shadowmoon is one of like 40 people who has over 2000 posts.
Disturbing.
This is at the point where you start getting mostly members who were also around in ye olden days. How long as Shadowmoon been around again?
I think what I am trying to say Shadowmoon, is that you need to slow down, and think. Before you reply to absolutely every message, just stop, and think about what you were going to post. Is it really worth it? Does it add anything to the discussion? Have you thought it through properly?
(And Akuryou and Andrew are apparently the only ones who can say they have OVER 9000!!!!! posts, incidentally >_>).
There's only one thing I don't like about Shadowmoon: He likes the new Pokemon, including the legendaries.
Other than that I actually feel an element of sympathy for him because although he is rather imature and ignorant, I know exactly how it feels to be in his position, infact I still have some imaturity problems today.
