Hi everyone

I need some help with RubberWorm on Vista.

My name on WormNET is FLYman just in case any of you know me...:)

I was wanting to know about the wkRubberWorm.dll, the reason why is because WormKit will not work when I put this dll into the Worms Armageddon folder. I get the Fatal error "Worms Armageddon has encountered an error. Detailed information about the error can be found in the ERRORLOG.TXT file." I went there and the error said "WA caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module WA.exe at 001b:0044fac3.
CyberShadow beta, version 3.6.29.0" WTF is this all about????:-/

I have and use the Pavilion hptx2510us Tablet laptop to play worms Armageddon, My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. I also use an AMD Turion X2 Ultra 64bit processor.

Is there is no way to fix this? I know it's vista :p, but any ideas on how to would be great.

If no one knows how to fix this, will Rubberworm have an update to allow me to use the wkRubberWorm.dll file anytime soon or not?

Thanks very much in advance

It's not because of vista, wkrubberworm (or other modules that are dependent on the particular version of WA) doesn't work with new update (3.6.29.0) as said in another topic. There is not a wkrubberworm version working with latest update yet.

This is a wkRubberWorm problem. wkRubberWorm was written to only work on W:A 3.6.28.0, and until its author (pisto) releases a new version, it will only work with 3.6.28.0. This is not a problem with the new Beta and is not something we can fix.

Pisto IS working on it though :)

Maybe we should have a WormKit forum section. Then all the threads about it can go there.

ok so right now I have the Update 3.6.29.0... Dose that mean I have to Reinstall Worms Armageddon? or can I downgrade to 3.6.28.0?

I am running W:A 3.6.28.0 and wkRubberWorm doesn't work for me either, on Vista.

I installed it and can get it to run, but when I go to play online, I get the screen that has "anything goes" and "party time" listed, and it even tells me how many people are in which, but when I click on one, I get "FATAL ERROR".

Please help.

My error log file is attached.

So now that it's been updated it no longer works on 3.6.28.0 and only works on 3.6.29.0? Ok. Thanks.

This does take me back to the old problem that 3.6.29.0 had many problems with Vista, I'll check the thread for 3.6.29.0 for solutions, thanks.
