Crashing to desktop when starting a game?

Nvidia nForce4 Ultra chipset
AMD s939 x2 4200+

As title.

Can load into the menus but when trying to start a game, it just crashes to desktop :(

I have read the FAQ and tried the recommendations.

If you get an error message that mentions ERRORLOG.TXT, please post this file here (as an attachment).

I do not get an error, when selecting to play a game, the screen goes blank for a few seconds to which I then return to my desktop.

Does it say it's version 3.6.29.0 when you put your mouse over the Worms Armageddon logo in the main menu?

If not, have a look at the first link in CyberShadow's signature.

If you have 3.6.28.0, please try running W:A with this WormKit module: 30805
The game should exit with an error message instead of exiting silently.
Get it to exit when it would normally "crash", and then post here the file ERRORLOG.TXT from your W:A folder.

I got the same problem with the new Beta 3.6.29.0, no errorlog, just crashing to desktop when starting a game.
With 3.6.28.0 it's working fine.
My Hardware:

I tried it with Wormkit and wkcrashonexit.

I see we share those 2 specs with that last poster, but that's probaly just a coincidence.

Are you sure it works with 3.6.28.0? Did you try to update your video card drivers?

I am having the same issue, I just upgraded and it crashes to desktop without error, without even loading the map. I have not updated video-card drivers ( I had to roll back drivers for another reason )

Please run the command
cmd /C dir /S W:\ > C:\filelist.txt
substituting W with the drive letter of the drive you have the W:A CD in. Then, compress and upload the file filelist.txt from your C:\ drive.

Also, please post the contents of W:\Data\Resource\version.txt, if such a file is present on your CD.
