First computer info.
Windows Vista 32bit prem home.
AMD Athlon 64 Bit Processor 3800+(2.40 GHz)
2GB of ram.
Radeon x800 XL video card.

Now onto the problem, I have the demo till I know it will run on my computer. The problem is that when I click start game the screen just go's blank and thats it. I can go into the options and everything the demo will do. My question is what do you think is wrong? I tryed to get the beta update but it took me to a link where I cant find a place to dl the beta:confused:. Any help will be gratefully excepted.

Sorry, there's no demo for the Beta version. However, based on user feedback W:A works acceptably fine in Windows Vista, unless you have a laptop with an Intel Mobile video chipset. The only current issues are with minimizing.

I'm on a desktop thats custom built. And I'm sure a athlon isn't a intel. Do you have any suggestions as to why the screen would just go black after starting the game?

Yeah, the demo does not work with XP or Vista (but the full game should)

Because the demo isn't compatible with newer Windows versions.
