Can't shoot/throw weapons far.

I can't seem to throw/shoot weapons very far.

For example:
In the first training mission you have to throw grenades at targets.
I can only throw them half the distance to the target.
I'm completely unable to beat the first tutorial :D
Happens when I try even games against the computer.

It seems like the keyboard is letting go to early?

I have the sold out WA.
I use ubuntu with virtualbox running xp.

Do you have a wireless keyboard? They tend to hate keys being held down for long.

What if you open Notepad in VirtualBox and hold down a letter key? Does it keep repeating the letter or does it stop after a while? Maybe it's a VirtualBox problem.

Do the same with Notepad in XP to see if it's a general problem with your keyboard.

If you have a wireless keyboard, some other devices in the proximity like wireless telephones may interfere.

It is a wired keyboard.
Holding down any key just outputs like normal in notepad. Doesn't stop just keeps repeating.

ps I don't have the problem in worms 2.

So it only manifests with the space bar? You can walk continuously fine?
