Missing manual

hey I picked this up second hand from amazon, I think it's one of the first prints, but the dude who sent it to me either forgot to include or has lost the manual either way he ain't replying to me.
Is there any way I can buy a new manual or something?

I have another question about patches.
can I just install the beta v3.6.28.0 or do I need to use the other patch first?

You do not need to install any updates prior to 3.6.28.0 as long as you have a working Internet connection during installation.
