View Full Version : Worms 360 - How did they do the terrain deformation?

I'm a hobbyist game programmer (eg. I work for an insurance company but have an interest in games but have never actually released anything nor do I work for any game companies, etc), and have always been fascinated by the Worms terrain deformation.

I'm now trying to make a Worms / Scorched Earth clone that is compatible with high-resolution (eg. 1080p, 1920x1200, etc) and am having a really difficult time figuring it out so I'm hoping that one of the Team17 programmer could possibly give me a few ideas on how they did it for the XBLA game?

Any help would be GREATLY appriciated!
