Game not working?

Hi.

I installed it, but I get an error. I followed the FAQ
(updating, updating drivers, installing a different way, applying the patch, set it as admin, /NOINTRO and soforth) Yet it still isn't working.

If anybody can help out, it'd be greatly apprecaited. I uploaded the zip file of my error.

What graphics card/chipset do you have (start, type dxdiag into the search box and hit enter, go into display and post the info there). If it is Intel, then as of yet there is no way to run WA due to Intel's vista drivers not supporting Direct Draw, a reasonably old, outdated technology (this game is from 1999...) that is vital for certain games such as WA. The only course of action is being one of the many people to whine to Intel. The only other way is to set up a Virtual Machine (see http://worms2d.info/Installing_WA_on_VirtualBox ), which requires a CD for an older version of Windows, or very risky way is to install the XP graphics drivers, which has a success rate shaky at best (if it fails it will BSOD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSOD) you) and it also disables disables Aero.

that's the exact one i have. i'll try out the virtual machine some time after i get back from school, but thanks for the info.
