Don't ban me D:
I'm actually curious about this, and I even searched the forum for this kind of poll, and found nothing, so unless it was deleted, this wasn't done before... here. :p
You can also say reasons if you actually use it.
No.
Neither at home nor at work.
It's unlikely that anyone will stumble across the T17 forum in my living room and I log out of the workstations at work so nobody has access to my favorites.
I do log out on public computers though.

Nope.
I'm now too lazy to keep logging in so I hit "Remember Me"

9-0 for "No" hehe..
I hit the 'remember me' tickbox and only log IN when it DIDN't remember me (like after months) but uhh... I'm the only person on the T17 forums at home, so nobody would bother to visit the site, nor log in under my account (which is hard, because it's protected).
I put $5 on 'No' for winning this :d
when it DIDN't remember me (like after months)
More like if you deleted your cookies.
It's at 14-0, a hundred percent score.
19-0 now, and still 100%.

I do on computers that aren't themselves password protected. I feel like I ought to, really, what with my awesome destructive power.
(Which comes with Awesome Destructive Responsibility.)
No, and if I log in on a public computer or someone else's, then I simply don't click the remember me button.

Only on public computers, just to make sure.

don't see any purpose in it in my situation. if I'm logging in on a computer that isn't my own I just don't click "remember me" but on this computer the only people who can access it are me, my wife and my close friends who I bring into my home without supervision. if anyone's in my house who I don't know well enough then I wouldn't let them on my computer to begin with :p
if I were a mod or something I might be more strict about where I log in or who I let near my computer or what-not, but even then the majority of the time the only people here are my 2 close friends, possibly a third every once in a while. nothing to worry about for me.

I don't log out, because I don't need to. If I'm inactive for a while (and I haven't ticked "Remember Me") it logs me out automatically.

I never used the log out button, not on msg as well, WAAYYY easier to close the window. (especially if you have multiple tabs open where you are online on forums.. )

...Are you talking about logging off from a windows account?
No. Turning off the whole computer. You know, by pressing start and then pressing turn off computer, then pressing turn off, or pressing the power button.
why did you vote otherwise then? D:
I wasn't paying attention, and clicked the yes button by mistake.:(

I'm amazed that people who can't be bothered to log out can be bothered to vote in this thread.

I dont need to log out. The only time I use these forums is on my personal laptop, which has only one account: mine.

I don't see the need for anyone to explain their reasons! We must be desperate for something to discuss.

Exactly the same with me
We must be desperate for something to discuss.
Well not really.
It's not like this is the only active thread on the whole forum...

I tend to stay logged in, and only log out if i'm using a different computer.
yes I logout, and don't use the remember me button :p
Well, you are Number One.
And with this, I believe "yes" wins.
You're lucky he didn't edit the poll results :p

Seems fairer just to infract the no votes? Can't decide on how many points it shoudl be though.. so I guess I'll have to leave it.

A permanent ban sounds fair for me. Oh wait...

Wouldn't make much difference if you were an admin or a mod. Admins have to type in their password to get access to the admin CP.
I think the most dangerous possibilities are people using your computer or your cookie info being stolen by some clever scriptkid. It's happened before on vB, though now fixed. When I licensed the forum for HabboHut.com (now a complete and utter mess that I have nothing to do with organisationally or stylistically), our top techy fixed the bug himself, which was to do with XML or something, so that if anyone tried to exploit it they got redirected to www.youareanidiot.org :)
