Menu flashing problem

Hi , i have the latest patch installed and tried i think most of the solutions posted here ! The problem i have is that worms menu options flash white repeatedly ( it really hurts your eyes :P )
Wierd thing is that when i start a game or a mission its absolutely perfect , i only have that problem in the menus/options screens ! In game it doesnt appear ! I would like some help if anyone knows how to work arround it !
i got an ATI 3870X2
with core 2 duo e8500 and windows xp pro

Go into your WA folder, go into the tweaks folder, and double-click the following file:
SlowFrontendWorkaround_AntiFlicker.reg

If the file isn't there, install the latest update from ftp://ftp.team17.com/pub/t17/patches/pc/WA_update-3.6.28.0_Beta_Installer.exe
