How safe is it to put xp drivers on vista?... and do you loose any of the vista features like Aero etc?... Also does this work on WA?
It only works with some people, others get a BSOD and have to do a manual repair. You lose Aero, but all the non-visual features stay. If it works on WWP, it'll work on WA.

You are foolish to download old drivers for a new operating system. Just delete the game, dont screw up your PC trying to get a game 10+ years old to work... T17 isn't going to come out with updated files for the new vista system. I played this game before Vista and loved it, but new technology has come along and now games do not work like before...Oh well, life goes on.
Now for some GTA IV!
You can't blame Team17 for WA or WWP isn't working under Windows Vista. The Intel drivers for Windows Vista aren't at the same state as the drivers for Windows XP. Problems with DirectDraw pretend WA or WWP from working. There were similar topics in the WA forum already.
I'm wondering if ATI graphic chipsets have similar problems ...
Don't think so, or there'd be loads of threads about it in the WA forum.
can someone please help me?
