Heres the steps i go through to make a map.

1. New photoshop image 1920 x 696
2. Put the picture in, get rid of the background.
3. save as png.

The problem is when i load my map it has the picture and everythings fine until i load the game.

When it loads theres a giant white square the size of the 1920x696 dimension around it.

Im wondering if theres a special colour needed to be used as the background to get rid of it entirely.

Example.
This is what i want my map to be like
http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh283/MK9191/WA02.jpg

But instead its like this

If anyones confused about all this i will try to explain more later on.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)

I could swear that's not a worm in the second picture. Are you quite sure you aren't attempting to load the map up in Ducks (http://www.hungrysoftware.com/games/ducks/)?

Great game, that.

That's correct. Transparent is black (RGB 0,0,0).

Thats no way to map.

First....make a Size map as you like... Make sure its devidable by 8....
So 9600x4000 works perfect also...

Next. Paint some map....do something doesnt mather what... As long as background is black its okay. Just make sure its fully black.

Then openup in imageready. And change picture to 8 bit dithered.

Change collor to 110 or less.... Then safe optimized.....And play.

GL and HF..
