Hiya guys,

It's been a long time! I reinstalled W:A and wanted to make a few maps using standard artwork from the levels. There used to be a great website or zip file that had all the game's sprites (for worms, objects and textures) all extracted and put into GIF format... do you know what I'm referring to? Am I mad?

If anyone could help me find this it I am most grateful!

UPDATE: http://www.yoda.arachsys.com/worms/wa/

Found it! Sorry! Should I remove this thread myself, or request that it be deleted?

There is one game sprite that you won't find in the game's gfx.dir/on that page.
You can see it used in my current avatar. :)

Hmm.
I hope you mean the Sheep-on-a-rope and the black shotgun sprites, which I both haven't seen yet.

How did these people manage to extract the graphics of the land and soil textures?

In exactly the same way they managed to extract all of the sprites. You can do it too with this program:

Huh? There's no need for anybody to extract graphics with that program anymore as everything that could be extracted has been, and has been put at the site linked in the first post.

The program is still around though in case anybody needed it for whatever reason, although I don't see how anybody would still need it.

You must link it 3 more times before hamz10 can recognize. [What a nice rhythm...:)]
