Weapon Sets

After one hell of a long time, I finally got my computer to run W:A even with the 965 Mobile Chipset. However, when I try to save a user defined weapon set, I receive an in-game error message that says something along the lines of "unable to create scheme file." If anyone has any possible solutions to this, it would be greatly appreciated.

It would make sense if that error message meant you didn't have administrator privileges over the \Worms Armageddon\User\Schemes folder. Whether that's it or not is another question entirely, heh. Certainly make sure you're running WA.exe as an administrator.

when I run it in administrator mode, it doesn't let me use the weapons I unlocked through TeamEd. so yeah, I still can't save my user defined weapon sets. any ideas?

Do you have the latest Beta Update (ftp://ftp.team17.com/pub/t17/patches/pc/WA_update-3.6.28.0_Beta_Installer.exe)?

I suppose you could try using an external editor (http://worms2d.info/SchemeEddy) to create schemes instead, it's a bit inconvenient tho

you're going to love this...I get "run-time error 75 path/file access error" when I try to save a weapons scheme.

Your W:A directory isn't write-protected by any chance, is it? Seems unlikely enough, but who knows...

Try saving it to the desktop and then moving it to the schemes folder

And then try moving anything to the schemes folder
