Hi all!
First of all a big thanks for the continued support for WA. It is without a doubt the best game of the Worms series (I own almost all of them) and the fact that it is still being patched 7 years after release is awesome!
WA seems to be crashing on startup (Just before the main menu loads) under the latest Wine. Using /NOINTRO gets us to the main menu, but clicking on anything but exit causes an identical crash.
I'm using the UK Microprose CD (That has a nuclear symbol on it), applying the 3.6.28.0 patch and running under Wine 0.9.52 with Nanocide's ddraw fix applied.
My ERRORLOG.txt dump is here:
http://www.pastebin.ca/843927
and "Sander" who posted on the WineHQ AppDB page appears to have exactly the same crasher despite using a completely different distro, Wine 0.9.51, and has an ATI graphics driver not NVIDIA like myself.
I have run WA on Wine successfully before. Are there any Wine versions for which 3.6.28.0 is known to work flawlessly?
