WA fatal error...

i would like someone to help me if possible.... when i try to start wa, i see 1st black screen, then i see smaller black screen and then fatal error message shows up and it makes errorlog.
i have both vista and xp on pc, it doesnt work on any of them...
i have vista on my laptop and the same wa works perfectly, without bugs, lags or anything! my configuration is pretty strong, i think it would be silly to think it is the problem... (amd 4000 x2, 2gb ram, ati x2600pro 512mb)

You can attach several file types - including .txt - up to 100kb to your posts.
There's a "manage attachments" button below the text box where you type your post.

this one is 114kB i think so i didnt make big mistake ;)
still, anyone knows anything about my problem?
and yea, i have all possible updates... i said that the same game with all the same updates works perfectly on laptop with vista...

Versions prior to 3.6.28.0 don't generate ERRORLOG.TXT files.

You can attach several file types - including .txt - up to 100kb to your posts.
There's a "manage attachments" button below the text box where you type your post.
Right about all errorlogs are >100kb. You could compress it to a ZIP first, though.

I can't say much about that, but it seems like it fails to set the screen mode. Check if your setup supports a 640x480x8-bit mode (Control Panel -> Display -> Settings tab -> Advanced -> Adapter -> List all modes).

in vga it supports only 640*480*16bit @ 59 hertz
so, it is graphic card problem?

Yes, it probably is. Try reinstalling your drivers anyway.

nah, i have tried reinstalling many times :confused: dont know what else to try.... maybe some programs are messing it so i'll try to play in safe mode :p i really dont know what else to try ^.^
btw, i just checked on my laptop, it doesnt have 640*480*8bit too, and game works perfectly, without color bug or anything (and i have vista) :confused:
