Playing WA once again:)

Hi all, I used to play WA eons ago and for a laugh a couple of mates have also still got thier old copies so i've re-installed the game and was good to go BUT...I no longer have any shopper/roper etc maps or any maps really apart from the one that come as standard with the game :rolleyes:

Does anyone still play the city shopper maps?(were my fav)

So is there any links to map pack and the likes?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can get good maps at BlameThePixel (http://www.blamethepixel.com/) or WMDB (http://www.wmdb.org/).

Also, remember to install the latest beta.

Cheers dude, I've d/l the patch and after scouring these forums a bit more I found the link to WA:Powerpack on fileplanet that has loads of maps etc. Handier than a five knuckle shuffle so it is.

You know that you can now play color maps online with the beta updates?

That means, you can get the newest and best color maps from wmdb.org.
The ones in the powerpack are mostly the old b/w maps, with only a few color maps from a few years back, when wmdb was quite young (or hasn't started at all yet, IIRC).

Kilgore's Dogma City Remix (http://wmdb.org/186) is THE classic city shopper map IMO.
I also like Raffie's (http://wmdb.org/raffie) shoppa maps a lot.

Don't forget the new update allows MASSIVE maps.

The triangular parts on you Pyramid shopper and the curved, catacomb parts on your Roma shopper map simply fit the textures and theme perfectly.

Playing on those just adds that special feeling. :)
