Hi. I've been meaning to re-register for some time, but I didn't think the time was right until I saw the beautiful snow in WA....
I was a member some time ago, but then I got permabanned for admitting to illegally copying a WA disk. I have since stopped using that disk, and bought a legal (although second hand) disk.
I am terribly sorry for stealing your game, Team17. :(
I hope to have some nice friendly discussion here! :)

Isn't creating another account also a bannable offence?

Not to mention that he created the account for avoiding a ban.
On the other hand, there's a good chance that he was banned before the points system was in place, and shouldn't be permabanned now.

Creating a new account to circumvent any punishment has always been a bannable offence. At least, as far as I know.
Who cares? That rule is for people not making lots of accounts for spamming etc..
Welcome back! :)

The incident happened a long time ago (years) and, in my opinion, I have now made up for my mistake and apologized.
Unfortunately, I could not not find any way of contacting those in charge to ask for permission to come back on, so all I could do was just go ahead with re-registering, and hope for the best.
If that is against the rules, I did not know so, and I can assure you that I meant no harm. :(

Well, since I haven't been scolded by any admins or such (yet), I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's safe for me to go posting normally now. :)
