i wanna do some other stuff while playing it like msn, playlist control, checking my torrents and minimizing is an option of course but still i'd like that

er, that's what the minimizing is for...
to minimize the game, hold shift+esc

if you can't minimize, or if there is no minimize button in the "esc" menu, get the latest update (http://wa.team17.com/main.html?page=supp&area=upda&file=15)

If you have a second monitor you can have Worms running full screen on the primary monitor and you can see some stuff on the other monitor, however, the secondary monitor loses it's full colour capability due to the paletted colour scheme Worms uses and the resolution is also tampered with.

This approach allows you to see roughly what's going on behind Worms without minimising all the time, although to interact with these windows, Worms will minimise on it's own.
