Can't start a game

Hello and sorry for my bad english.

I use the German Version of Worms on CD (v. 3.0.0).
I have the v3.6.28.0 Update installed, now, when i will play a game my screen is black (the Game loads not, only when i press ALT+F4 i see the loading screen for a moment).

What can i do?

My System:

Windows XP Pro
Sempron 2800+, Socket A
ASRock K7-Upgrade 600
nVidia GeForce 6200, latest Driver @ 1024x768
DirectX 9.0c

There could be a firewall or anti virus tool blocking the new version from accessing the internet and stealing the game's focus, resulting in improper rendering. Most firewalls I've used require you to add WA.exe to the list of exceptions all over again when you update the game.

Hello,

the game self starts, after the screen "Please wait, work" or in german "Bitte warten, arbeite" is my screen black and the loading graphics is not shown.

these is in offline and online games

Hm, it could be an issue with the graphics card not liking the resolution switching, then. I'm pretty sure the game works on the GeForce 6200 card when using some drivers, but you'd have to wait for someone to confirm this to be sure.

It's strange that it started happening as you updated the game, not the drivers. Out of ideas here.

What's is the oldest driver thats work with the 6200 card?
For my old GeForce 4 Ti 4200 have i many drivers thats work, for the 6200 not.
The Omega Drivers will not work with my card (Bluescreen).
