Hi me and my friend are playing W:A on our lan together but aren't sure how to get bots (computer controlled teams) on the game with us. Please how do we do this?

Gee, when I first read the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about Acclaim's onine game, 'Bots'.

As Run pointed out in the older thread, AI controlled teams in network games (LAN, direct IP and Wormnet) might get implemented at some point.

Just like you are now able to play offline games with a single human team, I think it should be a minor coding thing.

If you're playing in a lan, you might as well play in a single machine in hotseat mode, that way you can add cpu teams.

Well, perhaps they want to have the invisibility utility available, which is only possible in network games.
Perhaps they are too far away or it is impossible for them to play on one machine (company/school/campus LAN).
Maybe they have their LAN tunneled through VPN (Hamachi), because they can't host on Wormnet (in which case HostingBuddy would help though).

Is "nilrem" the inverted "merlin"? :)

Well the alternative is that the option is actually added(which I hope it will), but just how long do you think it will take for it to be added and the patch released?

My work around takes a lot less time, even if they are actually far away from each other.
