Can I have those points I paid for manhattan back now? I see that there won't be a fix so how about a refund program. Or is it the "its in Microsoft hands now" thing?

Yup, go yell at Microsoft.

I really don't think Team17 can dole out Microsoft Points.
Here, have 100 Andrew Points.
It's in Microsoft hands now.
As this thread is now deemed useless, your avatar reminds me of Magners. And, born and raised in Ireland, makes me want to pummel you right about now.

If you want your microsoft points back, moan at microsoft. Team 17 can't help you, so this thread is useless.

We've already told him that. No need to tell him again.
Also:
so this thread is useless.
OH THE IRONY!

It's becoming a habit that if someone says something that makes sense, a few posts later you will discover Shadowmoon saying the exact same thing.

Yakuza, i like repeating things over and over again. If its annoying, then call me a copycat.
It's also becoming a habit that if someone says something that makes sense, a few posts later you will discover Yakuza saying the exact opposite thing.

I suggest you stop playing with fire, you don't want to look like a complete tool again just like you did yesterday do you?

It's also becoming a habit that if someone makes a thread that attracts Plasma's attention, a few posts later you will discover Plasma making himself look like a complete tool.

And now back to the post......I understand about the whole talk to Microsoft about it, I was just thinking that maybe, just maybe there was gonna be a simpler way. I mean I figured that since both companies know about the problem that there might have been some conclusion like "Heres a link for the unfortunate few to file for this particular incident". I guess that would be too easy and asking for much, but it was worth a shot asking as unlikely as it maybe.

How about this instead...
GIVE ME THE PRODUCT I PAID FOR.
I WANT TO PLAY ON MANHATTAN.
*heavy breathing*

That's great actually, now go shout it at Microsoft.
:p
edit: except the "*sigh*"... Microsoft can smell the slightlest hint of weakness and use it against you.

As far as we've heard from T17 this is actually their fault.
There are several bugs in the product, one of them being related to the Manhattan theme.
Microsoft can give me my points back, but I don't want the points. I want a working product.
As far as we've heard from T17 this is actually their fault.
Sorry, but that part of your brain that likes to make up stuff does not work for Team17.

Sorry, but that part of your brain that likes to make up stuff does not work for Team17.
It works for some people, not others. It crashes the game.
How is that MS' fault? There is some pending T17 patch that they won't let through?
There systems let me purchase and download the content, the game, however, just won't load it without dying. How is that MS' fault?
Microsoft are the publishers and therefore won't let Team17 work on a patch without telling them to and paying them to, and MS won't release a patch from Team17 until they're "satisfied" it works and doesn't cause more problems than it solves. If they consider it a low-priority patch, then it'll be way down the bottom of the testing queue.
