So, i had a DS and the only game i actively played was W: OW2... however i recently looked into getting the new slim psp cause there were a lot of games coming out on the system that interested me...
in any case of course im getting worms again but...
i was reading the pro's and con's on both systems and... my question is:
The online multiplayer on the psp seems better than the ds version, however, are the physics on the psp version and the "mis-aligned crosshair" a huge hamper on the system to where i would have rather kept the DS version?
I HATED having the stupid friend codes and from what i hear on the psp version there is a lobby system which seems better but... im just confused on the two systems, laboratory was fun but i really wanna play online more than anything.
any tips from people who own or played both versions?

Physics are one of the most important game aspects to me, so I play the DS version more. Friendcodes are a hassle but I mostly play random ranked games, so I rarely need to enter friendcodes. It does suck not being able to see custom worm names in games that aren't against friends but at least you can still see the custom flag. The DS leaderboard scores all look legit but the PSP has scores that would be impossible to gain without cheating. You can have fun multiplayer games in either version. I enjoy 2 player games so DS is good for me but if you really only like to play 3 or 4 player games then the PSP version would be better.

so i finally got the psp and worms for it...
sigh@engine&physics... GL trying to rope on that game.
and wtf when u jump and land on the edges of land you bounce off?
this is just one case of trading gameplay for graphics...
havnt tried online multiplayer thingy yet... gonna get used to the physics and the controls first...

i do not have any problems with PSP rope, or misaligned aiming issues. it can all be LEARNED :D basically, if you dont learn how to use rope and aim, you are not a serious player :D
PSP has scores that would be impossible to gain without cheating.
why is that? unless ofcorse, you are talking about quitters..

I meant the leaderboard scores, someone had something like 9 million points, way above the average or even the 2nd highest. It's either a glitch or a hack but it makes the leaderboards more meaningless.

I disagree. The version that is better is the DS one, as it has more stuff to do. The minigames on the DS version are quite good. Yeah, the PSP has better customization, but the DS version is more fun to play. Or were you not saying the PSP version is better than the DS version?
