Laggy menus

I bought and installed the Trymedia version of WA. While the game runs perfectly, the menus are quite laggy. On screens with drop-down boxes, the boxes seem to flash briefly.

I have the latest patch installed.

the latest patch for the trymedia verrsion is NOT the latest version for the CD version of the game ;) the latest patch for the CD version contains tweaks to get around the slow menu issue.

also the CD version is compatible with newer patches thus making you less likely to get shunned in the online community since no one like emulating old versions of the game.

correct, the CD version is vastly superior to the trymedia/gametap versions.

Just do a forum search for trymedia or trygames to see how many people we've reccommended that to ;)
