Here, we have a big thread for discussing all non-Team17 games. There's been over 800 posts so far.
Most of them are about Super Smash Bros: Brawl!
So yeah, quite a lot of us here have a Wii.

it seems like no one has wii.
Huh? I would say that it seems like everyone has a wii... except me of course... :p
And me.
I wanted to get one last Christmas, but they ran out.
Kinda glad I didn't to be honest, it's only now that any decent games are coming out, well, one at least, "Super Mario Galaxy".
I'm skeptical about this game.

I dont wanna buy any of the new game console right now,iI wanna see the ps3 games and the wii games before buying one.

Well, that's cleared everything up nicely.
They've added new weapons to the site! I've updated my first post.
To see the weapons, click on the floating moving things in the background then click the green bit at the bottom of the screen. There are different bits on every page!

Worms: A Space Oddity also makes full use of the Wii's gesture-based controls and, in a move that you'll probably either love or hate depending on your familiarity with the series, the game's arsenal is much smaller (10 weapons plus a handful of gadgets) but much easier to use effectively than those in previous games.http://www.gamespot.com/wii/strategy/wormsaspaceoddity/news.html?sid=6184909&om_act=convert&om_clk=multimodule&tag=multimodule;picks;title;2
so yeah.....
edit: they're now much easier to use effectively, in spite of the gesture-based controls. The reason for this is simply that, providing you don't exceed the time limit for your turn, you can take as many practice shots as you like before committing. Furthermore, taking a practice shot paints a dotted line across the screen to show your projectile's trajectory and, if you're happy with it, you can lock it in place so that your "for real" shot does the same thing.so about that whole buying this game thing that none of us will be doing....:p
edit2: and as I read on, the motion controls are also god-aweful. this game is sounding absolutely horrible and I've not even seen any videos yet....
edit3:
You might think that the practice shots afforded by this new control setup would make luxury weapons such as the homing missile (now known as a "guided frag") obsolete, and in many situations you'd be right. But there are still going to be enemies that can't be hit with standard weapons, and you'll find that the guided frag is more useful than ever when you need a missile that will avoid obstacles en route to its intended target. That's because in Worms: A Space Oddity you're given direct control of your guided frags, which you can move around the screen and perform tricks with simply by pointing the Wii Remote where you'd like it to go.
and the new air strike equivalent. Rather than carpet-bombing a small area around your target, the new air strike takes the form of a UFO that hovers over your target and fires a number of green lasers down at it that's determined by how quickly you shake the Wii Remote.
...and the ever-present exploding sheep, whose bounces you'll purportedly be able to control in some way.
eh.......yeah......cheap, easy and completely skill-less. focusing on new players is one thing, removing ALL the skill from the game is entirely another.....
edit4: and based on the comments on the bottom of that hands-on, even the people who aren't avid worms-players hate this game. complete lack of skill and devoid of weapon variety removes all that makes this series worms. as one guy says: "Just because it's on Wii they assume all their customers will be complete and utter morons. This game is so insulting to my intelligence, I would only buy it so I could smash the disc"
Whoop! So much for 'waiting for the game to be released before slagging it off', eh?
Anyway, by the looks of it, it's turning out to be a sort of spinoff, replacing motion sensing with accuracy.
Which means that I'll be getting it, because it looks fun. I'm one of those people who already have enough of the 2D worms series with W:A.
Look at the underhype! There's not even a forum for it! I hope this pattern of one crap, one good, one crap... isn't going to continue.
