i was wondering how many worms players there are ?
how many online players there are?
and how can i compare it with other online games ?

There's like... 8. Maybe 9.

You can compare it with other online games in the same way you can compare water with Seinfield.

I'd say there's far more than 8 or 9 people that play Worms. Far more.

Sometimes you can have up to 40 people sitting in the WormNet lobby at any 1 time.

I did some stats once based on HostingBuddy logs. About 1500 unique nicknames join WormNET every day, and about 2200 games are hosted per day.

Can you be more specific on why would you want this comparison? There's thousands of games, I don't know how it compares unless you wanna be more specific, it surely doesn't compare to WoW or any older blizzard game that have millions of players, WA has usually 20-30 people on average, and can go up to almost a hundred at times. There's enough people to find a game, and enough people to have a pretty active league, a couple of active clans.
