Whenever i try to install WA, it goes into the setup screen, and says Installing WA. Then it goes out into CMD, and says:

"The NTVDM CPU has encountered an Illegal Instruction."

Then closes. Nothing else comes up either after that.

This is my computer's specs:

Compaq Presario
1.5 GB RAM
AMD Athlon XP +3000 Processor
ATI Raedon X1300 PRO 256 MB AGP Video Card
Windows XP Home Edition SP2

Go here (http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp/installguide-autoinstaller.php). This is an automatic installer program that automatically installs the game from the CD, as well as installs the latest Beta Update.

I've tried that. It doesn't work...

It would help if you were a little more specific about "doesn't work".

Also, where did you get your game CD from? Does it appear to be scratched or otherwise damaged?

It goes into CMD; asking for a Directory. Then it goes through everything, then says "Do you know what you're doing?"

Then it says close it. I got the disc off of Ebay and its fine. Don't know what i can do.

Is that the exact error message you get?
If it is, it doesn't seem to originate in the installer, or Python, or 7-zip.
Post as much output as you can get (copy by right-clicking the title bar, selecting edit->select all, then pressing Enter). Or just post a screenshot (resize the window first if necessary).

OK, that's more helpful. Now please tell us what does the case/CD look like - and the name of the publisher (it should be written on the case/CD alongside Team17, etc.)
The contents of the W:\Data\Resource\version.txt file will also be helpful (substitute W with the name of the drive where you have the W:A CD inserted).
