Pretty often when I play W:A, I crash.. I hear this GDUNGG~ sound (standard windows sound when something is wrong). The weird thing is that I stay in the game but I can't press anything.. When I press some buttons (like arrow-keys) nothing happens. but when I press a random letter, then I suddently go to the desktop and then I get this message: "W:A has encountered an error. For further information check the ERRORLOG file" I can only choose "OK" and the window has a red sign with a 'X' in it..

The ERRORLOG file contains the following:

WA caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)

It's impossible for me to say when this error accurs, to me it seems as if it's ad random..

Does anyone know a cure?!?!?!!?

Have you tried applying the SlowFrontEndWorkAround (located in the "Tweaks" folder)? I had the same problem (I would play a game, but when it got back to the frontend, the same thing would happen to me as happens to you.), I applied the SlowFrontEndWorkAround and everything was fine. Of course, I have no idea why this worked for me, nor if it would work for you. You could try it though.

I've gotten the same error as you. Running Vista. I'm trying to update the video card drivers right now, to see if that will work.

I believe this bug has been fixed since the last beta. You could wait until the release of 3.6.29.0, or you could contact me on #worms (http://worms2d.info/Worms_on_GameSurge) so we could test if the fix applies for your case as well.

I have same problem too.
I installed 3.6.28 patch but nothing change.
I use windows XP SP2 and intel 82945G graphic card.

But 6 months before I didn't give this error messages on same computer and I used Win XP (SP2).
May the case about Windows XP updates?
