I just wanted to post credit where I feel it's due.
Today, I hosted an online match of Forts (play for points) in which I selected the teams at random using my trusty gaming dice. Since there were only three players, I ended up on a fort by myself while the randomly-selected team of AsylumJim and an unnamed player both had two worms each as my opposition, resulting in a balanced 4-on-4 worms match. Unfortunately, his teammate left the match almost immediately after it began, leaving AsylumJim to play against me with a handicap of two worms against four.
Though he didn't win the match, he DID stay and fight strategically for the entire length of the game, which ultimately lasted three rounds. Because of this, AsylumJim has earned some well-deserved respect points from me.
I wish more people would come to terms with the fact that unfortunate handicap matches are inevitably a common part of Worms online. They aren't a reason to quit, but instead an opportunity to show what you're made of.
Very good game, AsylumJim. =)

PS: Even though I had an obvious advantage, he still wasn't easy to defeat.
