I am down to 85% and I've never quit a game myself. My legit street cred is being destroyed!

Everyone ignores that percentage, so don't worry. You can reduce the chance of all your opponents quiting by making a one round scheme and hosting all your games.

percentage is there to discourage quitting. but quitting also decreases opponents percentage. so everyone ignores percentage, and quitters don't have to worry about it.
i think i see a flaw in that system.

If someone avoids you because you have an 85% beside your name then they are new to PSP WormNet and beating them wouldn't give you much points anyway. It's not meant to show how many games you quit since it also goes down if your opponent quits or if there was a network error.
At least your account saves stats, mine is currently stuck on zero points and 100%.

Do you get more points for beating people higher on the leaderboard?

On the PSP version, I think each player puts 10% of their points in a pool each game and the winning side takes all. The more points your opponent has, the more you can win.

No, I don't ingore %. I also make my own one round schemes and yup people still quit like crazy. I'm down to 87% and thats with me trying to only play people I think won't quit (I'll look at their rank and %). It is a frustrating endvor trying to meet and play people that won't quit.

the % goes down if you lose a game as well remember.

It shouldn't go down in that case, only if you or your opponent quit/get disconnected before the number of set rounds have been played.
