I've been out of the Team17 loop for a while now, and only just discovered that there's an Open Warfare 2.
I never played the original, but I'm about to get a PSP again (after I had it stolen aaaaaaaaaages ago). Should I just get the new one, or is there anything in the first that would make it worth buying as well?
Also, is it similar in gameplay to any of the original games? Or completely new (as far as completely new can go in the Worms franchise)?
the first one was the exact same as wow2 pretty much. the only difference is wow2 has more weapons. and plus wow isnt for sale anymore. (i got it the first day it came out)

I think you'll find Worms Open Warfare IS still for sale.
from what i gather worms open 1 has limited weaponary, tough AI, no multiplayer, but very nice backgrounds.
Worms opne 2 has online mode which is simply a dream come true (i've just returned to wormland aswell). Also it has great themes and everything WOW1 had except tons of customisation capabilities which is a nice bonus.
PS r u getting the new psp slim, i would.

Online isn't currently a selling point for me, I'm using my 3G mobile as a modem, and I'm fairly certain Orange wouldn't be happy if I started using liberal amounts of bandwidth, heh. I would play it online whenever the opportunity is there though.
So I guess it isn't really worth it then, if WOW2 builds on the foundations of the first. Cheers.
Getting the original one from a friend at work, haven't really got the money for a slim at the minute. From what I've read, the new features don't really seem worth saving up more money for (besides the TV-out, which would be pretty nifty).

i thought psp slim was only around £120, the wifi switch has been moved away from where the hands rest so the chance of it being flicked during online play have now gone.
