Use Worms the Directors Cut Concrete Donkey in caverns. :p
This was possible with filder back in the day. And in the early versions I believe, I'm pretty sure I've used armageddon in a cavern before...
yea, perhaps eddy played someone who emulated an old version =] because this bug was fixed a while ago.
the wagame file shows that version 4C is used (3.6.28.0).

This is indeed a bug, introduced by this v3.6.25.1 fix: In games with Stockpiling or Anti-Stockpiling enabled, Strike weapons collected during a round played on an Island landscape are now preserved in a dormant state during rounds taking played in a Cavern landscape. (Previously, they were lost under these circumstances.)Part of that fix consisted of treating strike weapons as "valid" in a cavern game with stockpiling enabled. However, that "valid" status of a weapon also allows it to fall in a crate shower; I must not have realized this at the time I made the above fix. I've rectified this and the fix will appear in the next beta.
well, if you can collect strikes in a cavern, then it stays dormient until you play a round in an open map, i dont think it's a bug. It would be a bug only if you can actually shoot it in a cavern map imo

out of intrest , how did you make that video file ?
As Pisto says, it's nothing major and it's not going to crash the game, but in the final moments of an important match when your entire chance of success lies in the contents of a crate, a weapon that isn't even fireable would annoy the hell out of anyone it happened to. The opponent of course would love it.
Sure, the chances of getting a bungee or teleport is still if the scheme allows it, but at least you could use it.
