DS freeze during wifi connection?

Has anyone had a problem with their DS freezing while connected? I have played maybe 8 - 10 matches online and two of them froze yesterday. It was not even during play but rather after a round or at the end.

Is there anything to do if the game freezes instead of turning the DS off and back on? I would rather not have to turn my system off and on a lot if this problem continues.

Hopefully it was only an isolated problem because both were within 10 minutes of each other.

wait it out and most likely you will see your opponent has quited.... but then again that problem doesnt plaque the DS version so... i don't know oO.

i waited about 5 minutes on one and nothing happened. the first freeze was after a game was over and i had won. there was a 30 second countdown (not sure to what though) and it froze on 26 seconds and just stayed there.

the second freeze was right after connection when we were choosing theme/scheme and land type.
