View Full Version : New York trip help.
My wife and I live in New Zealand and are travelling to LA and NY. We're going to be in New York in November for a week and we're doing all the usual tourist stuff; harbour cruise, Empire State Building, the Met, Central Park, Macy's parade, Broadway show etc but we're looking for some more unusual or out of the way things/bars/places of interest in town. Anyone have any good ideas of 'must see' or 'must do' stuff in the Big A?
Thank you

I'm not sure if there is a good place to ask, I think I am the closest or 2nd closest OD member to New York and I remember very little about it, except there was a restaurant in Chinatown called Big Wong that we ate at.

I visited NY last spring for the first and only time.
See Spamalot on Boardway! It's a must!
There was also this remarkable bakery where my friend and I bought a chocolate muse pie. Oh it was perhaps the most delicious thing on earth... I have no clue what the bakery was called though.

He wasn't. I've spoken to him rather a lot on AIM, even after he left.
