[HELP] Puzzle 18

Could you help me for the 18th Puzzle please ?
I do not really understand what I have to do on this Puzzle. :(

Edit: Oh, I'm betting DS, cuz level 18 took me 9 tries. Okay, I'll try and explain it the best I can, though it might still take you a few tries to get everything right. Put a girder on the left side like this: / (but at a 45 degree angle... 45 degrees is important). The right (top) side of the girder should cover the left side of the platform your worm is standing on just a LITTLE bit. The left (bottom) side of the girder should be at about the same height as the top of your worm's helmet (or maybe just a TINY bit above). Then get on the right side of the left magnet, face left, and firepunch the magnet. If you did it right, the magnet will go into the hole, take the mine with it, and kill the left worm. Then do the same thing for the right side (with the directions reversed, of course).

Are the puzzles different on DS and PSP, I wonder... Do you have two girders and two firepunches, and two magnets on a platform?

I have the same things.

There's one thing I don't understand.
I can't go back up when I kill the first worm. :/
How do you do that ?

I don't think you're supposed to go down. You're supposed to stay on top and punch the magnets into the holes.

The puzzles are a little different on each system to compensate for the different physics/engine but they are similar (can have totally different solutions though). The magnets seem much bouncier on the PSP.

If I'm supposed to stay on the top of the map, how can I hit the magnets to kill the two Worms ? I'm sorry for my misunderstanding. :confused:

I've had so much trouble with that one. I mean, I know what to do, but the sodding mine on the left, while on its frantic orbit around the magnet, never seems to explode next to the worm no matter how much I try (the one on the right is far more agreeable in this respect).

Fire punch them down. Use the girders to control which way they go.

i do that on the right and it works fine but on the left it jumps over the girder and when i got lucky and killed the left worm i didnt kill the right worm :( thanx for the picture i will keep trying hopefully i will get lucky :)

This one had me going for a while too...you just have to get your distance from the left magnet right. Try doing the left magnet first (that way you can restart straight away if you don't get it!), play around with where you stand before the firepunch. You could also try raising the girder just a tad to stop the magnet from bouncing over, not too much or the damn thing will go under!! Good luck!

Yes, put also the girder a little bit higher.
