You may remember that some time after Worms 3D was released but before Worms Forts had been formally announced, Spadge came into OD and posted some screenshots of a very interesting-looking Worms racer. I'm wondering if anyone still has those screenshots.

I thought they would've vanished... wasn't that thread created during the period of the 30 day attachment limit?

Wow, I've never seen that before. Must have been posted during my year off the forum..

In any case, I think that concept will work fine if they make sure it's not just another mario kart clone.

Sega made them drop it in favour of Worms Forts: Under Siege. Scandalous.

I think it's because they didn't want to be (potentially) competing with the then in-development Sonic Riders, which was released a couple of years later and was awful. But that's a theory, not a definitive answer.
