Another Online Trouble

Hey another N00b here needing online help. whenever i go to play an online game and click join game the countdown comes up with the

"now searching for a Worms2 game..."
ip address
count up timer

but never connects, though i have played with my brother over the internet in the next room and it works fine (using net play cos LAN didn't work either, kept saying door was shut)

i am using original copy of worms so no need to ask that and i have the new version i think...i do, i have the 107 on my icon so i'm pretty sure i do. please gimme answers my brother is getting to easy to beat.

Generally you get this problem if either you or the person you are trying to connect to is behind a router, as mentioned in the FAQ. You can try enabling DMZ and/or port forwarding as described on Liksis (http://www.liksi.com/) and Spadgers (http://www.spadger.uk.ro/) sites.

Worms 2 has a very ancient online system.

Like Regulator says , if you are on a router, then forward the ports that W2 uses, and you'll be fine.

Thanx guys, i got the ip program but havent tried turning off my firewall and stufff yetm got lotsa work to do but ill let ya no how i go, cheers
