hi i made a big map and saved as png and put in saved levels when i try using it i get a error do they have to be set sizes and not any random size?
im using ms paint

The only solution I can think of, unless you have an image editor like Paint Shop Pro or something, is to save the image as a 256 color bitmap. Then get into it and resave it as a .PNG. If you have paint shop pro, get into your image with it, and decrease the number of colors to 113. Then save it as a .PNG file. (I believe there are tutorials for making PNG maps on the site Cybershadow directed you to.)
if you want some colour degredation (depends on source), then go to mspaint and save it as a 16 colour BMP file then open the new BMP and save it again as a PNG and now you got a 16 colour paletted PNG file...
instructions are on that site Cybershadow linked too, but they talk about 256 colour BMP which requires another tool to reduce the colours.
