View Full Version : Splapp needs help!
Come on, you're all intelligent people (OH YES!). What do you say to helping out uncle Splapp by thinking up some question ideas for The Impossible Quiz 2? I'm starting to find it REALLY hard to think of anything decent.
If they're good enough, i'll put them in (and credit you of course)... please? :p

How about a simple 'Don't answer this question' that automatically moves on to the next question after like half a minute, if you don't click any of the options.

There should be another question like #9, where it asks "What was the answer to question ___?" and the boxes say "THIS ONE" and such.
However, it would be referring to "question ___" in the FIRST Impossible Quiz, not the second.
I know that you need to have at least one question that references the first quiz.

An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman walk into a bar...
A. Owch!
B. You'd think at least one of them would have ducked
C. And the bartender says to them...
D. Very, very old joke
Choose whichever answer you think would be best, although I'd prefer B.
"NO."
A. Sorry
B. YES
C. Makes cars faster?
D. ON.
I suppose it's too easy to write ones with no real answer. Maybe I'll try to think of something better.

"Is this a question?"
"Only if this is an answer"
Find some pictures of molecules and have the player identify one of them.
i.e "Which of the following molecules is nitroglycerin?

Even more obscure way of answering questions! Hold the button for X seconds (too many or too few = FAIL). Press them in the correct order. Press all but the correct one. Press them in a sequence. Don't press anything. Or even the same variations with mouse-over (press = FAIL) or some other crazy thing!
Yeah, I'm not intelligent enough to come up with actual questions. :p
See if you can figure these out, all thought up on the spot... :p

"WHERE'S WALDO/WALLY?"
There would be a lot of Waldo/Wallys, various shapes and sizes, and they would all be standing directly in front of you, easy to see.
...except for one of them, who would be hiding behind the others. He must be the one, because the REAL Waldo/Wally would hide, unlike the other bástards.
...Yes.

Thanks! :D
...Believe it or not, I think I actually came up with one during a dream. I'll have to see if I can recall it.

Rather late in the quiz, there would suddenly be a screen complete with trophy that exclaims "YOU'VE WON!", and there would be a "try again" button, which is a reset button.
If the player waits around for a bit, the screen will fall backward, revealing that the winning screen and trophy were just a picture on a piece of cardboard.
A button to continue would be behind it.
It might cause a bit of confusion among people who would think they've won, though. :p

A screen would show up exclaiming "PRESS ONE!"
There would be numerous colored buttons on the screen.
None of them are the right button, though. The player has to actually press "1" on their keyboard.
You seriously made that up on the spot?
Because it's quite brilliant.
It was kind of a spin-off from the first one I came up with, which is also about shots, in case you didn't get it! :)

You are the king of wit.
I've recalled enough of my subconsciously-generated question to determine that it would be worthless in the real world.

There would be numerous colored buttons on the screen.
None of them are the right button, though. The player has to actually press "1" on their keyboard.
Ahahah! Have you got some kind of secret preview of the quiz, because I came up with that EXACT question weeks ago :p

actually it would be even better if it said YOU'RE WINNER like that one awful truck racing game
i suppose that if you need to press "one" on that color one, that precludes my whole idea of having to press "escape" when presented with a situation in which you need to escape from a zombie or something

6 or so pictures would show up, with the instructions "CLICK IN ORDER!"
Except that the pictures appear to have nothing in common whatsoever.
However, if one looks closely, there is a number cleverly hidden in each panel; 1-6.

How about a question with a map of the world, with the question being "Where is Bhutan?" or some other obscure country, with several dots available to click on the map. Or perhaps make it more topical with Iraq. Maybe flip the map upside down too, for the hell of it :p

How about a 'keep the mouse on the moving dot' question with a screamer at the end?
Or is that too vindicive?:p

Label some countries wrongly to further confuse people.

How about another one like the bomb on the last quiz where you had to defuse it in 1 second, but this time, make it appear on a random place (and perhaps give them a little more time if it makes it too difficult).
Having randomly browsed accross the de-musicified DeviantART version with Winamp in the background, I would highly reccomend the song Goodbye Sober Day by Mr. Bungle for the next one.

x. Listen closely...
Then have an audio file with a message with a very very low volume, so people crank it up, then play an ANNOYING LOUD NOISE!
Not really a question tho.

Let's keep screamers away from this quiz, please.
In case you haven't realized, people are going to be playing these questions over and over again. A screamer would just be stupid when people played it from the 2nd time and beyond.

So? I don't see the difference between that and already knowing the answer to a question when playing it for the second time. :p
I really don't think that's what the Quiz is about. :p
