View Full Version : strange question about health crates:
WHY the health crates in this game have GREEN cross,
while in all the previous worms games had RED cross?
It is not that this is gonna ruin the game, but it seems strange to me... to change the color without any particular reason...

Ok, this is not an explanation, but maybe it helps if I tell you that health-crosses are quite often green instead of red. When I was in Paris, all the + signs of the phamacies had a green cross and not a red one.
Maybe they thought it looks better :P
I think its because the red cross logo has some legal issues attached to it nowadays and so it had to be green. Seems a bit wierd I know, but thats game development.
I quite like it green actually.

So the red cross is kinda copyrighted oO? WTF?
Anyway, I haven't seen the new one yet but it shouldn't effect the gameplay.;)

Yeah, Red Cross put up a gigantor stink about it so no one used red crosses anymore.
...
I vote for a Blue cross!!! (and a blue sheild ... <_<)

No, Pharmacies just always use green crosses. It's medics and hospitals that use red crosses.

I'm never able to figure out: are your posts like this official reasons and info, or are they you trying to pretend that you didn't make the game?

Hmm, you are right. I didnt know, because in Germany all pharmacies have a red "A" and no cross. The A stands for Apotheke.

dose it rly make a difference?
It does make a bit of a difference maybe... for people who like red more than they do green (like myself).

I don't know why they use a cross, but, in the Middle East, they use a red Crescent, like the one for Islam...
Maybe it's because most of europe had a catholic/christian origin, that's why it's a cross.

Yeah isn't that what they say in thoese rectangular things that come up when a crate falls that would be weird if they said Green cross, worms happy. BTW one of thoese sighns say DIY suppliment. what does DIY stand for my guess is "Dis is your" suplliment I know i'm wrong but thats as close as I got to finding out the anwser. is it some type of text talk (stuff like LOL) or somthing?

DIY stands for 'do it yourself'. It is a VERY common acronym referring to any furniture that requires the customers to assemble it themselves.

LOL. Nope, as previously noted, it's DIY, but that's a pretty good second! Of course, if they had Mr. T-speaking worms, that's definitely what they'd say... with an added "foo'!"
