Well, I just broke my arm.

So, how's about we make a little list of what I can do with only one arm.

Back in school I wrote 3 class tests with a cast on the hand I write with.
I got an A in German and two Bs in English and maths.
Mathematics is much easier than writing essays though.

No, why?
You only move your fingers while holding the pen in a very impractical position, slowing you down quite a lot.

You could always think of things to do with your one arm.

Assuming it's your dominant arm that is broken, you could build up strength and dexterity in your other arm and hand and become ambidextrous.
It's what I would do.

There are a large number of computer games that you can play with one hand, particularly those that only require a mouse or keyboard. When I had RSI badly, I played a lot of Command and Conquer and Diablo II and simply used my left hand for the mouse.
