Cannot login to wormnet

Hi. I'm playing Worms Armageddon and I cannot get onto WormNet. I am not running any anti-virus software, and I have disabled Windows Firewall but I am still getting the following error: "Unable to connect to the server; please try another server."

WormNet has worked for me fine in the past (2.5 years ago) but after patching way back then it just stopped. I am currently running the most recent patch. Any suggestions? Also, I am not behind a router. My friend is having the same problem as well.

Open a command prompt and type:
telnet wormnet1.team17.com 6667
You should either get a blank screen or error message.

hey i had a similar problem turned out my firewall (and virusscanner) where blocking IRC communications on port 6667 (McAfee VirusScan then under access control) so they might be worth checking

just read ur post propperly have u tried setting up ur router and putting ur ip in the DMZ
