Alright, I don't know if anyone else has brought this to the attention yet, but with the new patch out my saved games folder grew 30mb in a single evening. Now personally I really don't care, have got more then enough space, but I'd imagine not everyone does. So maybe a way to manage replays would be in order. I think Worms needs a way to automaticly manage saved games. And I think it needs it pretty soon before people's Windows starts nagging. Or at least warn people of the potential problem.

If you play many times on the same map, you can pack your replay folder with something like WinRAR or 7zip that supports solid archiving. Removing redundant data is planned, but most likely not before 4.0. Besides, modern games' saves are quite comparable to this.
Also, check out the "Replay managers" section here: http://worms2d.info/Software
Is the Games folder needed for anything other than just storing the saved games? I mean, why should I rar the content... I delete the stuff if that folder quite regular, since it gets so many small files in it.

Yes, go ahead. You'll just lose the ability to re-watch the games you've played. There are programs that automate these tasks.

Well myself I can manage, but I dont think everybody could so I'm suggesting a notification or a build-in way to clean it up.
Or an option to not record games.
I'd say that at least the 5 most recent replays should be stored, this way if a replay contains valuable information such as a great map or an occurance of a bug then there's a chance for you to fetch it before it's deleted.
or a limit of 50, having no limit is simply stupid, and 5 would be too small.
Yeah, this is something I suggested last year (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=31203)
The easiest way I found was to create a batch file that deleted the "Saved Games" folder and then launched WA. WA re-creates the folder and begins saving replays as normal. I would then use Replay Shark to "move" the replays I liked (it timestamps when you ran it and puts the replay in its own folder).
Unfortunatly, Replay Shark isn't currently working with the new Beta, but this is the batch code I ended up with:
rmdir /s /q "D:\Games\Worms Armageddon\User\Games"
D:
cd "D:\Games\Worms Armageddon\"
wa.exe /nointro
or you can add things like:
rmdir /s /q "E:\Worms Armageddon\User\Games"
rmdir /s /q "E:\Worms Armageddon\User\Logs"
del "E:\Worms Armageddon\magic.log"
E:
cd "E:\Worms Armageddon\Tools\"
wormsip.exe
E:
cd "E:\Worms Armageddon\"
WormKit.exe
