This is why I stick with the console version of video games (such as Worms (http://www.xbox.com/games/w/wormsxboxlivearcade/) on Xbox Live Arcade (http://www.xbox.com/games/livearcadexbox360/) for the Xbox 360 (http://www.xbox.com/hardware/x/xbox360prosystem/)).
I downloaded the trial/demo of Worms Armageddon from TryGames.com (http://www.trygames.com/) and went through with the installation. During which, I was prompted to install the Windows 2000/XP patch. After that was installed, I went to run the game.
The game ran fine for a little bit... or at least until I went into the options area to check that out and change a few things. Then all of sudden the game quits.
When I try to run the game, a full screen window (appears to be an Internet Explorer window) with info about how much time I have left (a little more than 17 minutes apparently) and options to play the game or buy it.
I also notice this message:
"WormNET connection has been disabled. Buy the game to get enabling pack."
I'm running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2.
I'm not sure of the version number of Worms Armageddon or where I can find it (without running the game).
