I don't know if Windows XP Media Center can run Worms 4 : Mayhem.
Also Worms 4 : Mayhem doesn't run good at laptops. They are unsupported, as the GPU. To run it without problems, you must have desktop PC and a supported GPU.

Also be sure that your running it on a desktop computer.
You can find supported GPU's in the back of Worms 4 : Mayhem's case.

yea it works fine on my desktop, i just thought with it having a newer gpu it might be supported, cos my gpu to my desktop isnt listed on the back of the box. But it works perfectly and my desktop has media centre, its just basically pro, in a lot of ways with the media centre thing on it but yea i know why now so thanks guys :)

Your GPU is from ATi or nVidia? Or from other manufacter?
Some times, even newer GPU's from ATi and nVidia (newer than the supported cards) may work. If you don't have a supported card or newer, you will not get all the graphics the game can do.

MY gpu is a geforce 7800GS but i was just hoping that with the laptop gpu being newer the unsupported issue with intel chips wouldnt matter but obviously it does still, meh i told he she shoulda got a desktop if she wanted to play games... but women never listen :p

If she doesn't listen and she'll never buy a desktop, so there's a small answer: she must stop playing games!
But why she doesn't buy a desktop? Some desktops are very cheap, and they can handle Worms 4 : Mayhem. Even with my old machine, which is 5 years old with an ATi Radeon 9000 PRO AGP with 64MB DDR Video RAM, can handle the game greatly. So even the nVidia GeForce 7300 GT or an ATi Radeon X1300 can handle the game.
