I am not sure if I want to buy it or not becaus when I played at my friends house the weapons were good but I was not able to blow up the floor and stuff. Is there somthing that you can do to make the land blow up and break? And is there really only 5 or 8 levels? And if the object is to only build forts, then what happends when you build so much that your fort is practacly going to the other guys forts. And it takes for ever to blow the forts up, the game must last 10 hours.

Unfortunately, yes, the ground is unbreakable. You can win a game by eradicating all of the enemy worms, and there are certainly a LOT more than 5 - 8 levels, you can trust me on that one! There must be more than...30? Round about there. There's only 5 - 8 multiplayer maps, I think, maybe that's how you heard it...

There are 12 multi player maps, 3 for each epoch. Also, 20 campaign levels (5 for each epoch) and 10 death match levels.
Personally I love Worms Forts and find it lots of fun. And I don't remember ever having a game last more than an hour. (Though of course they would be longer at first if you're new to the game)

If you want to end a game quickly, make sure all 4 enemy worms are on the ground, and then use the rhino. If you steer him into a worm, the worm dies, and it deals quite a lot of damage to buildings too!

you have been so misinformed. that, or you neve saw the tutorials, or were explained wrong. You sound like your discribing some much worse game. Worms forts under siege is a very good game. In fact, its so good no-one mentions it so often...except here. you should buy it, I have so you should as well. the game DOES NOT LAST FOR 10 HOURS!!! What Idiot told you that?
why does the land NEED to blow up and break? are you some kind of terrorist?
you can only build ONE FORT PIECE AT A TIME, YOU CANNOT GET BETTER BUILDINGS UNTIL YOU BUILD ON VICTORY LOCATIONS. P.S. There are still loads of things about the game your freind didn't tell you about...

An average 4-player game lasts 30 minutes, if you're not trying to be ruthless. The object is not to build forts, it is to destroy the enemy's base fort or all of his worms.
There are 12 multiplayer levels and 35 singleplayer levels. All of them have unbreakable ground; because in Worms Forts, that would ruin the game.

If your fort gets very close to the enemy's then you ought to be able to destroy them. There's a very coarse grid system so that you can't just keep building, and it also has bottlenecks built in -- everything you build has to be connected to your main building, and if it loses that connection it collapses, so you can often destroy large parts of a fort in one turn. Ultimately you need only destroy the one HQ building to wipe out the whole fort.
I think the game can last ages because some people like to build and stockpile. It's better if you focus more on the destruction of the enemy.

Yes, the ground breaking is the best. It made the game awsome. Just becaus you have a game does not mean that I have to buy it

Forts is quite a departure from Worms. Some love it, some hate it. Most think it's good but don't like it as much as worms so ignore it. I shall have to dig out my copy and paly it again. Haven't in a long while.
It is a great game. I love the medieval hats, and some buildings are soo powerful, mwaha! It can last long, but I enjoy every moment of it.
