View Full Version : Replay Controls
Just wondering what controls there are when watching replays.
[F] - Play the Replay again
[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] - Speed Keys (plays the replay for example in speed 2)
[S] - Keep pressed, slowmotion

Something I never figured out and was never bothered to look up: once you've put it into slow motion, how do you get it back to normal? (As letting go just pauses it)

Use one of the above-mentioned speed keys, normal being 1.
[F] - Play the Replay again
This is wrong, R has that function.
Apart from that, it's indeed all in the readme. ;)
wtf is going on here??? (IE this forum just acted wacky oO)
S = slow motion
shift and a # = how slow the movie plays
# = how fast a movie plays
R = restart the replay

Franpa is right, you don't hold in s, s is frameskip. To make it play in slow-mo then hold down shift and any number from 1-9. To make it back to normal just press 1. To make it faster press any number from 2-9.
the correct term i think for S is "frame advance"
if pressed 0+{1-9} replay will be played faster 24×,32×,48×,64×,96×,128×,192×,256×,384× times
if hold left mouse button or press CapsLock the camera will not move
thats some pretty insane speed mr bad oO
thats some pretty insane speed mr bad oO
this is not my fantasy - read WA_Readme-3.6.26.5_Beta.rtf - tail of page#14
? not page 14... you mean page 16?
Is there no way to go backwards through the replay? If I miss something do I have to restart the replay and try to fast forward the replay to the exact moment again?
There is currently no way to rewind through a replay. I think the next patch will allow you to set "marker points" during a replay that will let you then return back to that point when you press a button (it may be the R button).
M button, actually. R is the one that'll automatically fast forward to the frame on which you pressed M. And by pressing Shift + R you'll be able to reset the rewind-to frame back to the first frame of the replay.
Using M for memorising a frame looks suspiciously like a calculator homage. I approve.
