I can't host [split from Port forwarding in support/tech]

Wow, you managed to find such an old thread to post this in. I've split it into a new thread

There's probably something quite fundamental wrong if the computer crashes. However, more details would hardly go amiss.

lol i managed to find it...
after a long time.
well these are the details...

my computer is very slow.
wenever i close a window it takes 30 seconds to close!!!
but anyhow i click on the the host button at the top and then it asks me to type my user and passy. i do that but then everthing stops...
after that i have to restart my dam computer. it bloody well crashes!
plz help me guys ive been desparate to host a game for ages. its so anoying.
