My laptop has an ATI Radeon Mobility X1300, and so far no suggested solution has worked (leaving WA window open, using that colour-pallette changer etc.)

i have a intel 946gz express cipset does anyone know of a solotion to this
Thanks guys, after installing the drivers under XP SP2 compatiblity, I bluescreen ~30-45 seconds after Vista Ultimate boots up. :/
Actually, do you mean the Vista 32-bit 160.03 drivers, as opposed to the XP drivers? Drivers are OS dependent, so why not stick with whats meant to be used?
Vista 32-bit 160.03 forceware driver: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1634
you dont apply compatibility mode to the drivers... that is counter productive to the extreme. (i think, i don't have vista ;\ )
you want to get winXP drivers and install them, not get the vista drivers (winXP ones) and simply run them without using any compatibility mode.
you can't install XP drivers under Vista without enabling XP compatibility in the compatibility tab. Vista won't let you.

You can, but that's irrelevant, because we do mean the Vista 160.03 forceware drivers.

Those drivers also allow me to run Worms Mayhem when I could not.
Oh, I see. You're all silly ATI people. Yeah, I installed the XP 160.03 drivers for my NVIDIA. I got BSoD'ed pretty quickly. :p

That doesn't look like an nVidia video card to me. Why are you trying to install drivers for a video card you don't have? You should try getting drivers for your video card model. I wouldn't be surprised if that wouldn't help, given that it's a fairly obscure and non-mainstream model.
You'll have to either wait for Intel to fix their drivers, get a real video card or install an earlier version of Windows.
and wots that in english?

Now I feel compelled to ask the same question.
thanks trippenz
but is there anyway to make worms armageddon work without buying another card?
like maybe a patch that worms for my computer?
Wait, how is WA not working (i.e. what happens, what version are you on etc etc).
well.. i duble click the shortcut, and then the worms armageddon window opens, then the program says "worms armageddon not responding" and then a error message saying "close program?" thats it :(:(:(:(
Try this:
Uninstall the game.
Install the game again but DO NOT attemp to update or patch it.
Download and install this (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/files/WA_update-3.6.26.5_Beta_Installer.exe)
Now try it :)
i got a "trymedia" version so it wont work :(:(:(:(:(
i need to get a cd
somehow :S

You can get a CD version of the game by ordering it from the secure Team17 online shop (https://secure.team17.com/browse.html?area=search&keyword=Armageddon).
anyway to get for free? legally?
No. You'll have to buy it. It's so incredibly cheap. £5 for a game that will last you years, you'd be crazy not to buy it.
u got a point
is w:a any gd?
has it got online play/online chat etc?
Yeah. As an extra bonus, try to get a refund from trymedia.
i can't lol, it says it was a full version then it turns out to be a blumin trial!
anyway... if i bought the game and it didn't work AGAIN i wud be totally bummed init?
Oh. If it's the trial then it won't matter. When you buy the game, and if it still doesn't work, we will try our absolute hardest to get it working.
BUT REMEMBER, BUY A CD VERSION!
cheers m8, u've bin gr8 help :D
nice av by the way :D
i've made a new avatar thread now to try and bring back the craze :P hopefully lol
