Is there a way to get a weapon crate every turn? If you set weapon crates to 100% and the other two to 0%, you only get a weapon crate a 1/3 of the time (which is a bit stupid). Is there a way to get weapon crates only, but every turn?? Do maps like Shoppa have this, because I would have thought they wouldn't work well without it...

I'm thinking that the value of "Chance of a weapon crate" needs to be set to 300 (instead of 100) to turn up every round, but how can you edit a scheme file?? All of the scheme editors I've seen don't add any new things like this, they only allow for more values of stuff like Worm HP etc.

up the crate probability of weapons individually, else you'll have unused crate drop %, the 3 categories are for distributing between the 3 categories, but the amount each category is worth is dependent on other things.

I don't know if this is applicable to you, but only five crates can be present on a map at any given time (except in the cases of crate showers I think) so if you collect a crate every 3rd turn, that may explain it.

AFAIR, also the crate shower allows only for 5 concurrent crates on the terrain.
It stops if 5 crates are reached, but continues some time if you collect during the shower.

I'm fairly sure the crate shower delivers five crates and no more, regardless of how many crates are on the map.

At the moment I have the following settings:

Weapon Crates: 100%
Health Crates: 20%
Utilities: 30%
Most Weapons' Crate Chances: 20 or 40%

Are you saying if I set all the Weapons' Crate Chances to 80 or 100% I'll get more crates??

Well I tried that, didn't change anything. There must be a way to do this...

Why don't you just open a Team17 or Roper scheme with Etho's latest SchemeEddy and see how it's done?

I don't have any of those schemes or that editor, but I'll try to find them...

Hmmm I can't see anything unusual about either scheme except they have 100% Health or Weapon crates, and nothing for the other two (which does actually work, but as soon as you set either of the other two crates to 10%, then the overall chance of a crate drops per turn is reduced).

To get a weapon crate every turn, you need to max the probability for weapon crates (all boxes filled) and remove the probability of getting the health and utility crates (0%). If you up the chances on getting the other crates, then you lower the chances of getting a weapon crate and and raise the chances of getting another.

I'm not sure how it works, but I would imagine that by having one crate set to full, you garuntee yourself of getting a crate every turn, but by having a chance of another crate type, you make it so you may not always recieve the first or maxed crate. I would think that by setting all crates to full, you garuntee yourself that you will get either a Weapon, Utility or Health crate with a 1/3 chance of recieving either every turn (meaning you will recieve one every turn). Does that make sense?

Only one crate can be dropped per go in a normal game.

True. It will plan 5 crates for delivery. But if there are currently 5 crates on the map, it will wait until one of them has been collected before delivering a new one, and so on until either all 5 crates have been delivered, or crate rain has ended (end of turn).
